These are some of what I've been listening to in the past week.  For all of them, reviews are pending... I'm lazy.

Asobi Seksu - Hush

I was so happy to see this morning that this had leaked.  I'm presently in the process of finishing my first full listen, but so far it seems killer, introducing much more variation upon general shoegaze technique than Citrus did while still retaining its dreamy bliss.  I've yet to hear any Japanese though, which disappoints me, however this might be my mistake since I've lost all of my speaking abilities during my time here in Chicago.

I've also been listening to Crippled Black Phoenix's joint 2009 efforts, The Resurrectionists and Night Raider, both of which continue the 'end-time-ballads' thing, the former doing so more successfully in my opinion.  You can find their downloads all over the blogosphere.
